Arman Jilavian leads Aurora Humanitarian Initiative as CEO. He is a member of the Board of Directors at RVVZ Foundation, Member of the Board of Trustees of UWC Dilijan, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of MEDIACRAT. In 2011, he was named the Media Manager of Russia in the Printed Media / Magazines category. Arman Jilavian graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State Universtiy with a PhD in philology. He has held various positions in Russia’s leading media groups (Nezavisimaya Gazeta, Eurasian Media Group) and managed the Time Inc.’s business in Russia (FORTUNE and Popular Science magazines).
Edwin Tham is a corporate lawyer based in Moscow with over 20 years’ experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, and finance transactions, in the Russian and CIS market. He was managing partner of the Moscow office of international law firm Allen & Overy from 2011 until 2014, and prior to that led the corporate practice in the same office. He is currently senior counsel at Danilov & Konradi. He has been ranked as a leading corporate and M&A lawyer in Russia by publications such as The Legal 500, Chambers Global, Chambers Europe and Kommersant (the leading Russian business newspaper). Edwin has advised on deals in the oil and gas, financial and private equity sectors, among others. He has acted for some of the leading banks and companies in the world. He is qualified as an English solicitor, Singaporean advocate and solicitor, and New York attorney.
Tiffany Maria Obser
Tiffany Obser has worked on building entrepreneurship ecosystems and tackling large-scale urban issues, spearheading projects in technology and design throughout the Middle East, Asia, North Africa, Europe and the Americas. From developing urban innovation strategies for a tabula rasa city in Saudi Arabia to working with early stage tech startups and building partnerships across two dozen countries, her experience centers on high impact projects that employ technology to drive strategic solutions. Having worked in urban design, research, and development capacities at OMA, Henning Larsen, and Rotor, Tiffany became intrigued by the implications of new technologies, entrepreneurship, and big data in a quickly urbanizing world and went on to become a Regional Manager with Seedstars, mentoring over 200 startups and consulting a variety of governments and institutions in MENA and CEE.

Adam is an acclaimed Silicon Valley executive and investor with a successful track record of establishing, backing and growing several next-generation ventures and technologies ranging from advanced chip design (NASDAQ (VIRL.)), organic thin-films development (acquired by AIXTRON SE (FSE: AIX; NASDAQ: AIXG)), memory IP solutions (acquired by CISCO), to developing next-generation neural interface technology (Paradromics, heavy investment and state backed venture that he currently manages as the Chairman).
Adam has served on numerous boards in the EDA Industry (Sequence Design) and Application SW (IconApps) companies. Currently he serves on the board of Silicon Cloud International.

Pierre has significant international experience in technology investments and new venture creation. In addition to his role as Partner of Granatus Ventures, he is the Managing Partner of Extream Ventures, a Singapore-based early-stage VC firm launched in 2009, funded in part by the Singapore Government's National Research Foundation, and a Partner of Upstream Ventures, a Singapore-based seed & startup investment firm launched in 2003. Sona is a professional journalist and art critic. She graduated with honors from the Moscow State University and has been working as a TV host, correspondent and TV editor with some of the top TV channels in Russia. Sona masters the essentials of storytelling, creative thinking and writing. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking. She is currently enrolled at the UCLA Extension program for Directing and Screenwriting. She has directed and edited 9 short films and crewed in many others. Sona is fluent in three languages and currently develops a feature film script and a feature documentary.
